The Vineyard
Situated on the slopes of the left bank of the Dordogne valley, Château Bélingard has been producing wines for 200 years.
The dry white wines of Bergerac and the sweet white wines of Monbazillac are made from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscadelle and Sauvignon Gris grapes.
Bergerac, Côtes de Bergerac red and rosé wines are made from Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec.
At Château Bélingard, we favour all methods that protect the environment by following all possible technical developments.
From pruning to harvesting, everything we do is managed to minimise our impact on the environment.

The vine is a creeper that needs to be controlled. All the work consists of concentrating its forces on the grapes rather than the shoots and leaves, while respecting the evolution of the plant and its environment.
The winemaker works according to the vegetative cycle, which is broken down into several stages. This work is very similar to that which a gardener might carry out on rose bushes in a garden.
